For a limited time between Nov 1 to Dec 31, 2021, AIA Vitality members can extend their flight benefit where they currently receive up to 50% cashback on two eligible Virgin Australia flights each membership year to include one additional travelling companion.
This means that any Status-based cashback members are entitled to as an AIA Vitality member will also apply to a one family or friend travelling with them.
Aside from the standard flight benefit terms and conditions, including following the booking process via AIA Vitality, and successful completion of a full AIA Vitality Health Check (VHC) in the last 12 months, the ‘Plus one’ offer:
- Is limited to 1 'plus one' offer per AIA Vitality member
- Is available to Australian domestic flights, and flights to and from New Zealand only
- Is only valid for the first flight booked with an accompanying passenger
- 'Plus one' bookings must be made between 1 November 2021 - 31 December 2021 (but you can travel at any time, subject to flight availability)
- Requires that the AIA Vitality member and travelling companion travel together and be listed on the same booking confirmation.
- If a member has not completed their VHC in the last 12 months they will have until 31 January 2022 to complete and submit proof of a completed VHC in order to be eligible for this offer. This means members can book eligible flights during the campaign booking period (1 November - 31 December 2021) and a 10% cashback will be processed within the standard timeframe. The additional cashback (difference between 10% and the Status-based cashback member is entitled to with a completed VHC) will only be processed once the member submits proof of a completed VHC and the applicable flight booking confirmation to email@example.com (by 31 January 2022).
- Cashback for both travellers will be paid in one total amount into AIA Vitality member's bank account. No split payments. You'll need to double check your cashback bank account details in the AIA Vitality app are correct (iOS users: go to Account > Cashback Account, Android users: go to Menu > Cashback Account) to avoid any processing delays.
