At AIA Australia (AIAA), we may be able to provide your clients with protection which has never previously been available to them. We can offer them cover which is specific to their needs, and because their premiums are priced according to the cover they choose, they only pay for the cover they need.

 

AIAA’s Crisis Recovery comes in four options:

 

AIA Australia’s crisis modules allow your clients to enhance their existing crisis protection, by providing extra cover against specific and common trauma diseases: Cancer Plus, Coronary Plus or both.

This option provides cover for cancer plus and all other events under the plus module only. If your clients are covered by Cancer Plus, we will pay them a lump sum should they be diagnosed with cancer, as defined under the policy. If they have a family history of heart disease or have suffered a coronary trauma event, they would more than likely not be able to obtain the comprehensive module, however with Cancer Plus, they will have some level of cover.

This option provides cover against ten listed coronary events plus all other events except cancer. We will pay clients a lump sum should they suffer one of these ten events. If they have suffered, been diagnosed with, or have a strong family history of cancer, chances are they won’t be covered for cancer. With a Coronary Plus that will have some level of cover.

If your clients haven’t been diagnosed with a Cancer or Coronary related illness but have another condition that prevents them from Comprehensive Crisis cover, the Cancer and Coronary option may be the right option for your clients. Under this option your clients will have access to cover for cancer and ten categories of coronary related illness.
