AIA Australia (AIAA) is committed to servicing all our clients and this includes those with ex-CommInsure policies.
While we can't issue new policies via an ex-CommInsure product, we can still process various changes to the policies such as increasing and decreasing cover, change of payment details and many more. We understand that a client’s situation can change, so where possible we will remain available to service your client’s policies, so they get the most out of their cover based on their life needs.
To help you understand what changes can be made, we previously created a spreadsheet with the various scenarios and outlining whether the change can be made, and if so, what was required to be completed such as a replacement form or further underwriting.
The Product Matrix was previously available on the aia.com.au website, however, we’ve recently added this to the AIA Adviser Portal, providing greater ease of access for advisers. See below for locations on the AIA Adviser Portal.
Additionally, by adding the matrix to the AIA Adviser Portal, we made several improvements which include:
- Removing internal abbreviations and terminology to make it easier to understand
- Aligning different Product Names and Change Categories
- Providing direct links to relevant PDS’ and Application Forms (where required)
