That’s why we’re moving away from the traditional, transactional claims process and changing the future of claims with our innovative AIA Claims Companion program. As your insurance partner, we’re committed to helping you give your clients the best support and advice in their times of need. Our support doesn’t end when your clients’ claim assessments do!
Following on from the success of our pilot program, Claims on Wheels, AIAA has reviewed and streamlined the claims process to better cater to your clients’ needs.
AIA Claims Companion is the continuation of our leading approach to assisting AIAA clients with the claims process. Previously known as Claims on Wheels, AIA Claims Companion is designed to help clients regain some control during their illness, while also enabling us to assist them by supporting their claim.
A free-of-charge service, AIA Claims Companion provides support to clients in the face of significant health events. No matter where your clients are, we’ll find a way to support them in the most convenient way. The service offers clients tele-claims and video conferencing options nationally, and, initially, a face-to-face service is available to clients living in Victoria. We plan to roll-out the face-to-face service across more states and territories over the coming months.
Clients are given their own personal Claims Companion to assist them through the claims process, talk them through the forms, and help them answer the questions. The Claims Companion can also discuss what information they might need from their medical practitioner to support their claim and to help them understand what AIAA requires from them. This all serves to make the claims process as fast and simple for your clients as possible.
In addition, the Claims Companion offers resources to ensure clients and their family have a strong support network in place during their journey.
