How many times have you heard someone say, or indeed heard yourself say…’I want to find time for exercise but somehow something always comes up …’?
It’s often easy to place exercise lower down on your list of priorities and that can mean, it just doesn’t get done. So why not try doing what you do every day in other areas of your life when it comes to something important – just as Kate from Next Evolution Performance suggests in the previous article, schedule it in!
Make a plan, set yourself a target number of weekly workouts and then schedule it in.
Schedule your workouts as if they were client meetings. Put them in your Outlook, write it in your diary, mark it on the calendar, then just as you would a meeting or an appointment – turn up and get it done.
Scheduling your workouts in your calendar also helps you hold yourself accountable, and makes it much easier to refuse and propose a new time if something else comes up.
