From December 2019 we’ll start to see our Two for Two campaign come to an end. During the previous 2 year period, these customers have had their policy and AIA Vitality fees waived, saving over $400 each.
Customers who in December 2017, took out their cover with the Two for Two campaign will be the first to reach the end of their campaign period and will receive a charge for their policy and AIA Vitality fee on their annual renewal notice. Over the coming months, all Two For Two customers will reach the end of their campaign period as they reach their second policy anniversary.
Your clients will now receive a policy fee charge of at least $85.60 per annum on their policy and; if they have AIA Vitality attached, they will be charged the $120 per annum AIA Vitality contribution fee (increasing to $138 from 1 January).
Together we want to ensure a smooth transition through these renewals. Here are some ways you can assist your clients and make sure they are receiving any discounts that they may be eligible for on their Priority Protection cover with AIA Australia.
AIA Vitality not only gives your clients access to all the program’s benefits and rewards, but offers them the opportunity to receive discounts on their insurance premium. As they reach different AIA Vitality statuses the discount they are eligible to receive flexes.
By assisting clients in understanding and engaging with the AIA Vitality program, you can help ensure they are maximising the discounts available and as their adviser, you also benefit though improved client retention and loyalty.
AIA now offers a Health and Life discount of a further 5% off a client’s AIA Priority Protection Lump Sum and/or Income Protection premiums when they take out a myOwn health insurance with AIA Vitality product.
Health insurance that gives back
myOwn believes health insurance shouldn’t just protect you when things go wrong – it should help you live a healthier life too. myOwn was the first private health insurer in the Australian market to include the AIA Vitality wellbeing program, providing members with an initial 5% AIA Vitality discount on a myOwn policy, which is retained as long as they continue to achieve an AIA Vitality status of Silver or above.
