A Financial Adviser Authority form could help save you and your clients’ time as it allows you as the servicing adviser, with the clients’ authority to act on their behalf for a number of policy maintenance tasks. These include:
By your client authorising you to act on their behalf for the above items, it minimises the need for your clients to complete additional documentation.
For advisers who currently use this form, we have recently updated the form. You can now download this new form at www.aia.com.au/advisersite, and search under Procedures & Forms > Adviser Forms & Documents and search for the document titled “Financial Adviser Authority Form”.
