This marks the start of our 25-year strategic distribution agreement with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), which alongside the support of all our valued Advisers will help enable us to deliver on our promise to make a difference in people’s lives as we expand our reach to help millions more Australians live Healthier, Longer, Better lives.
Essentially, while the agreement structure may be different to the original planned sale completion, it still allows us to bring our businesses together and operate as one team. This now means we will be able to bring our people together, share information, execute on our integration plans and build on the strengths of both companies to deliver the best outcomes for you and your clients. As a valued partner, you are an important part of our history and we are looking forward to working with you to continue supporting you and your clients in the future.
Initially, AIA Australia and CommInsure Life will continue to work and operate as separate businesses and brands under a common leadership, honouring all existing commitments to customers. As such, your current relationships and contacts will not change.
