We are pleased to announce that from 6 November 2017 the IP BMI loading acceptance page, a new feature within eApp, will be available.
Designed to support you in serving your clients that have applied for income protection benefits and have triggered a BMI loading only with no other referral reason, the IP BMI loading acceptance page allows you to either accept the BMI loading on the spot and submit the updated application for processing and issuing, or have it referred it to underwriting for further assessment.
The IP BMI loading acceptance page will automatically display in eApp® Express upon submission of an application that contains IP benefits, and for which the IP BMI loading is THE ONLY reason that the application would be referred to underwriting.
The page will clearly show your client’s quoted total annual premium (based on your client’s application), the BMI loading percentage, and the new total annual premium with the BMI loading applied.
Depending on your client’s circumstances, you can choose on the spot to accept the new premium with loading by clicking on the ‘Accept Special Terms’ button at the bottom of the page, or choose to refer your client’s application to underwriting for further assessment, by clicking on the ‘Refer to AIA Australia’ button.
For further information contact your CDM/CDA.
