2020 was a challenging year for our AIA Australia (AIAA) Technical Education and Centre of Excellence (TECE) team. Our team experienced some temporary changes, which drew our attention to how we can better align the team and provide more support for your technical queries.
This also led to us further strengthening our team, growing bigger than before, allowing us to create meaningful relationships and greater technical guidance.
Our TECE team now includes our newest member, Benjamin Martin, who has returned to the AIAA TECE team for a new challenge. Benjamin will be drawing on his years of technical expertise and experience, leading the TECE team forward. Benjamin’s goal is to get back to getting out there in front of advisers, presenting regularly at Personal Development days, and creating articles on the hot topics to help advisers succeed.
The team also includes Technical Managers, Natasha Panagis and Seon Sweet, whose expertise in taxation, estate planning and superannuation you can tap into.
Our team also include Toui Phanthana and Michael Flynn, who are here to support our teams internally so that they can better service advisers. Between the two of them they have years of experience from product queries to hosting events, the team has focused on the behind the scenes elements that strengthen the knowledge of our teams.
Keep a look out in for TECE’s regular ‘Quick Tech Tips’ via our Adviser News communications. If someone in your practice doesn’t currently receive our Adviser News email, please speak to your AIA Client Development Manager or Associate and they will be able to help them out.
In the meantime, feel free to reach out to the team for any of your technical questions, or if you're interested in having us present at your Personal Development days. You can email us at email@example.com or visit the TECE resource page.
