More than 80 advisers, partners and guests across New South Wales and Victoria came together to celebrate the Lunar New Year, marking the occasion with vibrant community connection and meaningful conversations about culture, inclusion and wellbeing.
Among the attendees were senior AIA Australia executives including Tracey Crowe, Pina Sciarrone, CEO Damien Mu and Chairman Peter Yates AM, who joined advisers and partners in commemorating the start of the new year and reflecting on what makes Australia’s multicultural landscape so unique.
Guests also heard from speakers, including AIA Vitality Ambassador and Australian badminton player Gronya Somerville, who shared her insights on goal setting. One of her standout messages was the value of setting ambitious goals, then breaking them into small, achievable milestones. A simple but powerful reminder that big outcomes are built through consistency and persistence.
Across the events, speakers highlighted a consistent theme; the importance of recognising and celebrating multicultural Australia. The message was clear, genuine inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s essential to ensuring we can effectively serve and support the diverse communities that make up our nation.
