Watch AIA Vitality ambassador Chris Judd take a trip to Korea for a lesson in the martial arts discipline, courtesy of a grandmaster.
AIA Vitality ambassador Chris Judd is no stranger to finding new ways to live a healthier, longer, better life – in fact, he’s tried his hand at ballet, arm wrestling, and boxing in the name of trying new skills. Judd’s most recent undertaking is by far his most ambitious to date, however, as he took to the streets of Seoul to learn taekwondo at the hands (and feet) of Olympic coach and grandmaster of the martial art, Shin-Chul Kang.
Our humble ambassador took to the mat to learn some fundamentals of a discipline that stretches back more than 2,000 years. With a single rapid-fire lesson under his (white) belt – alongside some young grandmasters-in-training – it was time for Judd to square up for a sparring match. The result? Well, you’ll have to watch to find out.
Learning new skills helps to stimulate the brain. This week, try something for the first time.
