These simple steps show you how to link Strava to AIA Vitality so you can earn AIA Vitality Points for activity tracked through your device.
You must have an active AIA Vitality membership and a Strava account.
Step 1
Open the AIA Vitality app and tap Account in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2
On the Account screen, tap Connected apps & devices.
Step 3
Tap Strava form the list of compatible apps available.
Step 4
Have your Strava account log in details ready.
Tap Link now
Step 5
Log in to your Strava account.
Step 6
Decide what information you’d like to share with AIA Vitality.
We recommend you select View data about your private activities to maximise your points earning opportunities to help you reach your weekly activity targets.
Tap Authorize before continuing.
Your Strava account will now sync to AIA Vitality.
Strava will appear as Pending in the AIA Vitality app until new data is synced. This happens after your next workout is synced between your device and the Strava app.
You can see Strava is connected to AIA Vitality on the Manage apps & devices and Strava Connection screens.
During high demand periods, it can take up to 48 hours to sync your Strava data to the AIA Vitality app and for any eligible AIA Vitality Points you’ve earned to appear on your Points Statement.
Step 1
Recent activity not showing on your AIA Vitality Points Statement?
Check that the activity is showing in the Strava app
Open the Strava app on your smartphone (iOS or Android).
Log in to your Strava account.
Tap You in the bottom right corner, then tap Activities.
Your activity should be listed.
If there is no activity, try:
Recording a new activity, saving, and uploading that activity to see if it pushes any missing or pending data to your account.
Log out and back in to the Strava app.
Step 2
Check Strava is linked to the AIA Vitality app
Open the AIA Vitality app.
Tap Account in the bottom right corner.
Tap Connected apps & devices and find Strava.
There should a green line on the left side of the Strava tile.
You should also see ‘Last synced’ and a date on the Strava tile.
If you don’t, try disconnecting Strava from the AIA Vitality app and then relinking.
Step 3
Disconnecting Strava from the AIA Vitality app
Open the AIA Vitality app.
Tap Account in the bottom right corner.
Tap Connected apps & devices.
Tap Strava, then tap Disconnect.
Your Strava account will now be disconnected from AIA Vitality.
