Go for a walk, run, or workout while wearing your device that’s linked to the Fitbit app.
- On the home screen, tap the device icon in the top left corner.
- Tap your device name.
You should see ‘synced just now’ under your device name.
If you don’t, tap the refresh arrows in the top right corner of the screen.
If you still don’t see ‘synced just now’, then:
Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled
- Bluetooth must be turned on in your smartphone to enable syncing.
- If syncing fails, try turning Bluetooth off and on again.
Check app Permissions
- For iOS, check that Bluetooth and background app refresh are enabled for Fitbit.
- For Android, ensure Fitbit has access to location and background activity.
