On 23 June 2026 AIA Health rolled out a significant upgrade to its mobile app experience, designed to simplify how members interact with their health insurance and improve overall usability. These enhancements introduce:
 

All AIA Health members have been transitioned to the upgraded AIA Health app and Overseas Visitor Health Cover members now have access to the app. The existing Member Portal has been retired, with all functionality consolidated into a single digital channel.

 

Members received email communications and portal messaging with details about the App upgrade. Members who currently use the app, will also see a ‘forced update’ notification. Members who try to use the Member Portal or haven’t used the app or Portal will be encouraged to download the App from the App Store or Google Play.

The upgraded app delivers a more streamlined, self-service experience for members, including:
 

Digital Membership Card: Enables faster Extras claiming. Available in-app for Android users from launch, with Apple Wallet integration to follow shortly. Members can still use their physical card if preferred.

Account Management: Members can update debit and benefits account details, as well as personal information such as address, phone number, and email.

Payments and Claims: The app supports premium payments and provides quicker access to claims, policy details, benefit limits, and an in-app inbox.

Personalised Dashboard: Offers intuitive navigation with policy-specific branding for a tailored experience.

Enhanced Security: with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and optional biometric login.
