In 2026, AIA Australia’s commitments to First Nations communities and customers are as follows:
- Seek to partner with an external organisation to launch a First Nations internship program
- Establish an external partnership to collaborate on a project focused on health promotion and prevention, and/or partner with a First Nations not-for-profit organisation working in the community
- Drive industry work with life and health insurers, aimed at collaborating on areas of common interest and amplifying our collective impact
- Work with partners, industry and external experts on better identifying and supporting First Nations customers
- Raise staff awareness of First Nations culture and dates of significance via events, speaking engagements and learning opportunities
