With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing mental illness in any year [1] the unprecedented demand for qualified psychological services has surpassed available supply, leaving many Australians without the mental health support they need when they need it. 

What is My Psychologist?

My Psychologist is an online psychologist service that caters to all mental health needs. Each session is led by an experienced general or clinical psychologist supporting your clients and their family members who are 13 years or older.
 
The service provides timely access to a registered psychologist, and with a Mental Health Care Plan, they can access ten sessions at a reduced fee.

Support

Support is extended to family members who are 13 years or older
*You are eligible for a $60 discount per session using the AIA access code (AIAGROUP), regardless of whether you have a Mental Health Care Plan. Those with a Plan may access up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions per year. If a Plan is needed, My Psychologist can arrange a referral to a bulk-billed telehealth GP for assessment.
With the current average wait times to see a psychologist exceeding 3-6 months [2], access to a virtual psychologist ensures your clients can get the help they need sooner. The Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Suggested fees for 2024-2025 has the standard rate for 46-60 minute consultation fee of $311 [3] and notes that cost is one of the top three barriers to seeking support [4].
 
With cost being ranked as one of three barriers to seeking help, our partnership provides your clients with an affordable option.

How to access My Psychologist

My Psychologist is available to you and your family. To book an appointment with a psychologist they can visit the dedicated Online Psychologists Australia page. Seeing a psychologist is easy.

  • Select Book Online and choose from one of the many warm and caring psychologists available.
  • Select Book an appointment and then AIA My Psychologist – AIA Access Code Required.
  • Enter in their special AIA Access Code – AIAGroup
  • Select your preferred date and time and enter your details. Once prompted, they will enter the relevant AIA Access Code to ensure the session is discounted.
