AIA Health customers who have been impacted by the floods may also be eligible for financial support through our Flood Assistance Package.
Eligible customers residing in flood-affected areas can choose from two forms of assistance:
- A waiver of health insurance premiums for three months while still having full access to cover, or
- A suspension of policy for up to two years.
AIA Health customers who have served, or are serving, as an Emergency Services volunteer in the affected regions can also apply to have their premium waived for one month.
If you’re an AIA Health customer who would like to apply for our Flood Assistance Package, please call us by 31 August 2022 on 1300 145 617 between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday (AEST/AEDT).
Customers wishing to apply for this package will need to supply evidence of their Centrelink Disaster Recovery Payment or Allowance. Those who served, or are serving, as an Emergency Services volunteer will need to supply a copy of their Volunteer ID card and Deployment Notice.
