In these uncertain times, finding time to keep fit can be a challenge. Thankfully, AIA Vitality Ambassador Bec Judd has developed an awesome no-equipment workout that the whole family can enjoy at home. Challenge accepted!
With the vast majority of Aussie families spending a lot of time indoors at the moment, we’ve suddenly found ourselves trying to work, play, sleep and relax within the confines of our own homes. And if you throw kids into the mix, finding any time for your physical wellbeing can be a struggle!
With four kids of her own, Bec Judd knows all about making the most of the time she has. So she’s pulled together this super simple (and super effective!) no-equipment workout that the whole family can enjoy:
Downward dog – 30 seconds
Cat cow – 30 seconds
Quad stretch – 30 seconds (per leg)
Arm bar stretch – 30 seconds (per arm)
Triceps stretch – 30 seconds (per arm)
Star jumps – 45 seconds
Mountain climbers – 45 seconds
Squats – 45 seconds
Reverse lunges – 45 seconds
Burpees – 45 seconds
Rest 15 second
Repeat x 2 (or as many times as you can!)
Lunging hip flexor stretch – 30 seconds (per leg)
Seated hamstring stretch – 30 seconds (per leg)
Calf stretch – 30 seconds (per leg)
Deep glute stretch – 30 seconds (per leg)
Back twist and stretch – 30 seconds (per side)
Cobra stretch x 5 (hold for 10 second)
