AIA Australia partners up with two of Australia’s premiere sporting teams to help promote healthier, longer, better lives.
AIA Australia is thrilled to announce our partnership with Hyundai A-League teams the Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC for the 2019/20 season.
As one of Australia’s leading life and health insurance providers, with a vision of helping people live healthier, longer, better lives, we’re excited to have our core values represented by two of the premiere sporting teams in the country.
With the soccer World Cup just around the corner, AIA Australia is proud to have the opportunity to support the teams, players, coaching staff and industry that are bound to help put Australian soccer on the map, and increase Australian participation in the sport, for years to come.
“Our dream is to champion Australia and New Zealand to be the healthiest and best protected nations in the world,” said AIA Australia and New Zealand CEO, Damien Mu. “What better way to do this than by joining forces with these two amazing clubs to provide opportunities for more people to be active and engaged in their community through football?”
The partnership will see the AIA logo emblazoned across Sydney FC’s shorts and on the sleeve on the Roar’s Hyundai A-League kit for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
“We hope our Hyundai A-League partnership with Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar will inspire fans and the broader community to become more aware of the big impact that small lifestyle changes can have on long-term health and inspire them to take the small steps towards living a healthier, longer, better life,” said Mu.
Globally, AIA is the Official Shirt Partner of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, one of the top-ranked teams in the English Premier League; a relationship that commenced in 2013 and has recently been extended until 2027.
“Providing opportunities for more people to enjoy an engaged, active and healthy lifestyle is a core component of both the Brisbane Roar and AIA Australia, and this is a terrific opportunity for both organisations,” Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre.
“We are delighted to be partnering with an industry leader whose aim is to champion Australians to live healthier, longer, better lives,” added Sydney FC Chief Executive Danny Townsend.
Added Mu: “What benefits fans and clubs in turn benefits society – by creating this shared value we’ll help transform Australia’s health and wellbeing. At a time when we are all needing a bit more inspiration and motivation - I’m excited to have this partnership in place and look forward to the season ahead.”
Keep an eye out for the AIA logo in Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC games for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
