Medix is more than a medical service that offers a second opinion.
When a customer decides to use Medix, a personal medical case manager will review their personal medical situation and they have access to a team of leading local and international specialists to consult with. In addition to reviewing a customer’s medical diagnosis, they will also review the treatment plan to ensure it is correct. Where other medical services might offer a straight-forward referral or second opinion of a customer’s current treatment plan, the Medix team will support a customer for a minimum of three months.
The service provided by Medix is also different in that customers get the one co-ordinating doctor as their personal advocate. This case manager then liaises with any doctors currently treating the customer, asking the right questions and decoding medical jargon that might be confusing or concerning to them. This allows the customer to feel confident that they’re receiving the best medical outcomes for their personal situation and are making informed decisions that are in their own best interests.
