That’s why we've made it easier than ever to unlock and maintain discounts on new Priority Protection policies - simply by engaging with AIA Vitality. With a streamlined discount structure, clients can enjoy real savings while getting to know their health better. 

How the AIA Vitality discount delivers lasting value

We listened to your feedback. You told us AIA Vitality flexing was too complex, re-engagement was a challenge and reaching Gold Status was a barrier.  
 
So, we've acted and introduced the following changes.  
10% upfront AIA Vitality discount on
new lump sum and
income protection policies.  
Silver Status is now the key
to maintaining the
AIA Vitality discount*. 
Initial 5% AIA Vitality Health Check discount, maintained by completing an AIA Vitality Health Check every two years. 
*A maximum AIA Vitality discount of 10% is achievable. 

How does the new AIA Vitality discount work?

Every new Priority Protection client with AIA Vitality starts with a 10% premium discount. 
Achieve Silver Status or above? 
They keep the full 10% discount at renewal. 
Bronze Status?
The discount drops to
5% in year 2. 
No engagement? 
The discount drops to
0% in year 3.  
Back to Silver? 
The full 10% discount returns
at the next renewal. 

Why Silver Status?

Silver Status is intentionally set at a level that's accessible for most clients - rewarding everyday healthy choices, not just elite fitness. Tracking physical activity like walking and completing in person and online health checks all count. 
 
We're not rewarding inactivity. As a Shared Value insurer, we recognise that real value comes from knowing their health and taking action. That's what we're here to support.  

Reaching Silver Status is simple

Clients can reach Silver Status in just a few steps, some do it in a weekend. 
 
  1. Complete four self-assessments in the AIA Vitality App - earn up to 3,250 points 
  2. Complete a FREE AIA Vitality Health Check at partner pharmacies – earn up to 8,000 points 
  3. Get a Bulk Billed Eye Check - earn 500 points 

And that's just the start. The more clients engage, the more they save – on premiums, gym memberships, flights and more. 

When health meets rewards

Healthier Life Reward

If your clients are already taking steps to understand their health, they may be eligible for an ongoing 8% discount when they add AIA Vitality to new a new Priority Protection policy.

Rewards for reaching AIA Vitality Silver Status

The AIA Vitality Silver Status Reward gives clients and advisers even more reasons to engage in the program with the potential of a $500 member and $500 adviser reward. To achieve this, all it takes is your client reaching Silver Status within the first 6-months of their membership. Plus reaching Silver Status would help clients maintain their 10% AIA Vitality discount for another 12-months. Terms and conditions apply.
