Celebrating International Women’s Day with Future2  

AIA Australia was honoured to be the key partner for the FAAA Sydney Metro Community INSPIRE International Women’s Day Lunch, held at Doltone House. The event raised nearly $5,000 for Future2’s grants program, which supports grassroots initiatives aimed at enhancing financial literacy across Australia.

Future2’s Make the Difference! grants program focuses on empowering Australians in need, with categories such as financial literacy for young people, women, regional communities, and those facing challenges like homelessness or domestic violence. Since 2007, Future2 has awarded over $1.6 million to more than 170 programs nationwide. 

The lunch featured a keynote by AIA Ambassador Dr. Jaime Lee, who led an inspiring embodiment practice titled “March Forward Together,” aligning with AIA’s mission to promote healthier, longer, better lives. This engaging session encouraged attendees to reflect on their personal and professional goals, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.

 

AIA Australia is proud to support Future2 in building stronger financial futures and encourages advisers to nominate causes close to their hearts for Future2’s grants program. By supporting these initiatives, we can collectively make a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians.
