I’ve been using AIA Vitality since 2018, and I made it my mission from the very beginning to hit Platinum Status every year – something I’m really proud of achieving.
To kick off my journey (and get some easy AIA Vitality Points), I started by finding my AIA Vitality Age, which turned out to be true to my age. I was excited to see that the goals I had set myself were reflected in the results.
Each membership year, I also make it a point to go through all the health checks and self-assessments available. This is a mix of both the in-app declarations and the AIA Vitality Health Check (which is done at an AIA partner pharmacy) – they’re both quick and simple. You can earn a lot of points easily, just by taking the assessment and earn bonus points if you’re within the healthy range (less than five minutes for most of them), so I highly recommend getting it done each membership anniversary. The points also show up quickly in your account – it’s a seamless process.
I particularly like the self-assessments as they’re a great way to bring awareness to the habits you may not necessarily give much thought to – like your mental health or diet.
The questions on the mental health self-assessment – ‘Your Psychological Assessment’ – really stood out to me. It asks questions about your support networks, and who you can rely on during challenging times. Those are the kind of questions that we don’t often get asked, and they’re a good reminder to check in on yourself.
