We’re really excited to be sponsoring Pain Revolution, a community-based educational program aiming to help people who suffer from chronic pain.
The Pain Revolution bike ride is fast approaching and will kick off on 11 April leaving from the Australian Pain Society Conference in Sydney and end on 18 April in Albury. Keep an eye out for Pain Revolution in the media and track their journey here.
The initiative is driven by Professor Lorimer Moseley, a Pain Scientist at the University of South Australia with over 25 years’ experience treating persistent pain.
Chronic pain is a huge problem affecting five million Australians each year[1]. It costs Western societies almost as much as diabetes and cancer combined[2].
Help us make a difference
While we’ve sponsored the ride, we’d love your organisation to get involved by donating to help raise awareness and promote better management for chronic pain in rural communities. Funds raised will go towards the Pain Revolution Local Pain Educator’s program, training locals and health care practitioners to deliver ongoing education and mentoring.
