AIA New Zealand and Sovereign will be launching a free program called New Zealand's Healthiest Schools Challenge, which will kick off in Term 4 (October) of the school year.
Building on the successful program that AIA ran two years ago, the New Zealand’s Healthiest Schools Challenge is a fun program designed to inspire 50,000 Kiwi kids to keep moving… and stay healthy! AIA and Sovereign will provide primary school classes with free pedometers and encourage them to count their steps in the real world in order to travel and learn in an animated global adventure - led by rugby legend Cory Jane and hockey legend Gemma McCaw.
The challenge will run for six weeks and participating schools will get the chance to win a share of $50,000 worth of AIA and Sovereign sports grants for their school, amongst other great prizes.
It is important to start cultivating health and wellbeing from a young age, so this is a fantastic initiative the New Zealand team is running and committing to champion New Zealand to be the healthiest and most protected nation in the world!
