When you start working at AIA Australia you take part in Ready, Set, Go! our comprehensive induction program. This will help you:
- Get settled into your role as quickly as possible
- Overcome the worries of starting a new job
- Learn more about our company and culture
- Meet key people and teams across the business and industry
- Accelerate your contribution to AIA Australia.
Ready, Set, Go! is a detailed on-boarding program carried out both online and in person. There are dedicated pathways for both employees and managers to help all new starters become familiar with AIA Australia, our business, team, environment and their role as quickly as possible.
The program outlines actions and expectations with a clear plan for each stage of the program. It’s an enjoyable and open process, available to all employees of AIA Australia.
There are four steps to the program:
- Making sure you understand your responsibilities and what you need to do as part of the program.
- Getting Ready – getting you familiar with your surroundings and settled into your role with the right tools and equipment. This begins before you start work and continues through your first week.
- Getting Set – providing you with more information on your role, your team and function so you can understand expectations and how you fit within the organisation. This takes place over the first three months of your employment.
- Getting Going – making sure you know how you add value to AIA Australia and identifying any learning and development areas for the future. This happens from your fifth month onward.
